I posted on your other thread so people don't get confused. that Novotel is NOT 15 miles from CDG, it is 15 km.

I just recently stayed at one of the Ibis hotels in Roesseyville or where ever it is due to an Air France foul up.The place is a dump and the food was disgusting. I am a budget traveller and I am not a fussy eater so I am not being a snob. There is a hotel in the area called the Millenium , try that over Ibis.

Thanks for edifying comments. I believe we will make a Marriott Courtyard reservation, all things considered.

You also might try the Radisson at CDG. We got an exceptioanl rate ..I think $80.00 by calling Radisson direct. The internet price was $185.00 and the rack rate even more. They also had a very good restaurant..Surprise, surprise! Their shuttle starts at 5 AM

I've been trying to post this reply for days - I think I'm finally able to.
Betsy, I was really dismayed to hear about the Marriott and Priceline. so much for Priceline and CDG! Thanks for posting the news. Regardless of that, MAP, I'm sure you will be happy with the Marriott. My room was listed on the door at $300. I think the $150 price sounds good. The hotel is worth it, and you will love the breakfast!

Thanks Sue. We will need a good breakfast to fortify us for the long trek home. The rate is 135 euro or 150 US, so think I'll keep it.
