Strange/amusing pilot announcements?

Riding in a helicopter in Korea, my daydreams of home were cut short by a young pilot who said with intense urgencyquot; Brace yourselves, we're going down hard!"
This got my attention seeing as how were were over a city with lots of power lines and few open areas. It felt awful as we shook violently and then dropped like a rock.
After what seemed an eternity of very rapid decent, we plopped down hard on the golf course of the Korean National Police Academy near Seoul.
We all exited in record time and made a mad dash for safer ground. A few minutes later, some cheerful Korean officials drove up with a flask of hot tea and made jokes about us not having a proper reservation.
Later, a second helicopter deposited a repair crew and took us back to base. I can still remember the Koreans standing in the snow and waving to us as we departed.
