Shout Out to dcd
dcd, you sent me a private message and I tried to respond to it this morning, but kept getting a message that your screen name was not recognized. HUH?
Anyway, here's what I wrote back to you. I hope you get it. It would be lovely if you can actually show up in THIS St-Cirq![LIST=1][*]The following users were not found:

- Hi, Dave. I think you may be confused about which St-Cirq we live in. I think you may be thinking of St-Cirq-Lapopie. We live in a commune between Le Bugue and Les Eyzies, population 112, two of them us. There is no car park, unless you count the 12 or so spaces allotted for the Grotte du Sorcier. If indeed you are headed to OUR St-Cirq, please feel free to park in our driveway - it's brilliantly marked by the cerulean blue gate - and come on in for an apéro. Tel. no: (Removed)

Hmm. Not sure this was such a good idea St.Cirq, though I understand the thinking behind it. This is an open forum, and now anyone has your phone number and can find where you live.
I admit if I'd realised we were so close to you on our recent travels I would have PM'd you too.

Yes, I know, thibaut...decedé.
Heti, I thought about that,, but I really have nothing to hide. And we welcome visitors. It's not as though we live in fear of malefactors. It's a very simple life we live here, with very few fears. It's a very safe place.
I wish you had PM'd me. I would have enjoyed a gtg with you, as you seem to be a stout and enjoyable person and I think often about how you are not enjoying your new home and how unpleasant. to say the least, that that must be.

St Cirq, we're back from sightseeing in Albi (very charming town) and with a very special thanks to nanabee, I found this post.
Thanks for trying to respond to my PM and for posting here as a Plan B. (Strange that "dcd" isn't recognized. Only been here since before 2003, lol.)
Anyway, you're right, I'm confusing my St Cirq's. Sorry about that. We'll be in the Dordogne/Lap one. Thanks so much for offering your driveway!!!

Come on by, dcd! It's not as though we have much of an agenda. Just a couple of old people pottering about on a hillside in France. Visit the Grotte du Sorcier and come by for an apéro. We're almost always here.
