Hello, has anyone else had a problem with being registered on Fodors? I suddenly was not registered. I tried to reregister, using my same "nick" and the password that Fodors had given me. I kept getting the message it was "invalid". Then I got a security question which was not the category that I registered under.

I finally got a message that Fodors would send me an email with a new password. Never received the email. I sent Fodor's an email, never received an answer either.

Now suddenly I am back on Fodor's. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

I think maybe they are cleaning house and upgrading and there are a few glitches.
A friend told me he had been banned, but found out it was something similar to what is happening to you..he is ok now too.
I do know that they seem to have cleaned out some of the worst of the trolls we have had lately ...yay..

It happened to me today. Waiting for a new password like you but now i seem to be back on??????

There seems to have been a computer glitch last night that kept booting people off and not allowing one to post. Seems to be working OK now.

Was anybody going thru "posting withdrawals"?

Just checking to see if I could get in...was away yesterday and missed the excitement of thinking I'd been banned.

I too am just checking to see if I can post. Tried, off and on, for hours last night to post to the poison thread. Just kept getting the registration page, over and over! Each time I filled it out, there it would be, right back again. Except for the times I got some weird error message. Very frustrating!

CAPH52, I had the same problem. I just turned off the computer and watched college football.

Will go read the news websites now...glad we are all back on Fodor's.

Smart man, Budman! I spent most of the evening watching tv or reading. But, every so often, just couldn't resist trying again! Sadly, Fodor's has become an addiction, albeit a pleasant one!

I'm very glad to see everything seems to be back to normal today.

Yeah, me too, on everything you all said (except the college football).

I just had to re-register this am, but no problems after that..maybe systems were flushed of the more annoying "bugs" ? I have noticed that one is not here and I know the boat hasn't left yet lol.

Scarlett, if last night's glitches had to do with housekeeping, I'm beginning to wonder just what they did. I got to thinking that I haven't been answering many genuinely travel-related posts lately. So, out of curiosity, clicked on my name to see just what I have been answering. Several of the ones that came up are not ones to which I've responded. Or, in one case, I had posted but not on the date listed. Very odd indeed!

I had the same problems this morning. Hope I'm OK now. We'll see.

Yesterday afternoon I did a Add Ware scan and a computer defragmenter program clean-out to get rid of bugs and worms and to speed up my computer. Later I entered Fodors and thought my house cleaning screwed up my access to Fodors! 'Glad to see this post.

Remember Peter's comment about 1/3 of their servers dying? Expect data hiccups for a bit, until they clear it up.

I'm surprised nobody said it was "a sign that you're on Fodor's too much if you can't go a day without."

I couldn't even access this thread last night! When I tried posting to another thread, I was taken to a registration page like you....but I could see my name at the top, MelissaHI. It wouldn't even let me register. Wierd.
