Paris Planning - Again
We are beginning to plan for our pairs trip fro 2013... YES , I know I plan way ahead.. I am looking for an 1 bedroom apartment with either a balacony or very large window that open to the street. I would prefer any area from the 3rd through the 8th. I would like a building with a lift , we will do a walk up for the right apartment - up to 3rd floor .. Budget: around 2500 - 2800 dollars a week. We plan to rent for 2 weeks. Would also like a washer and dryer. Trying to cut down on clothes we bring. Any help would be appreciated.

There are wonderful 1 BR apartments here for you to browse through. You don't say what time of year you will be going, so that will determine the rate. Click on "prices" tab to see the rates for different seasons.

I agree- we stayed in a Paris Perfect apartment last year and it was fantastic. They have a local office located about 5 minutes from our apartment (and probably most of their offerings in the 7 arr.). Fabulous company, friendly employees. We had a great 2 week stay!

To be honest, I think there is no point in planning for an apt. rental about two years in advance. I doubt if you can book anything that far in advance, and apts. come and go on any rental website, if you picked out the perfect apt. now it could not be available in two years (and I don't mean booked, it could not be for rent).
I've never heard of anybody planning that far in advance, but if you must, spend the next year or so figuring out what area you want to be in, so when you are ready to book a place, you have narrowed down the areas so you aren't searching everywhere. Sure, you can look for agencies that in general have the terms and prices you want. You can pick out the perfect apt. two years in advance if you really want, it could work out.

Christina makes a good point. A friend has always rented the same apt for the last several years, but when she went to reserve for this yeara trips the owner had it up for sale and not available. So planning that far in advance especia;;y with a privately owned apt is most likely pointless

We loved this apartment on Ile St. Louis. Check www.parisaddress.com and ORLEA26. Has a nice little balcony with a stunning view of Notre Dame and the Seine.
I love planning ahead too, almost the best part of the trip.
