Paris Hotel for Family

I have been reading messages on this forum for weeks now and I feel I am more confused than ever. We are a family of 4 that will spend 3 nights and days in Paris in the end of June.
We are looking for a hotel that is within walking distance to some sights in Paris. We would like some type of view of something French (a church, a park, a monument, a market square or something else).
We could get 2 rooms or a family room, it doesn't matter. We would love to be within walking distance to a couple of cafes and restaurants. Our max to spend would be $500 per night for the family. I hope I am not looking for the impossible...

I would really appreciate any suggestion.
Thanks,
Vickie

Both of the hotels I usually stay at have quads and a 5-person room and chambres communicantes. They are both in the 7th. One is the Hôtel Duquesne-Eiffel (3* with A/C), the other the Hôtel de France on the Boul. de la Tour Maubourg (2*, no A/C). Either one would likely be under $500 a night for all of you.

They have views of French things like the Tour Eiffel, les Invalides, boulevards with French cars, French people walking by, etc., and plenty of cafés and restaurants.

How about a hotel with a kitchenette and cable TV that costs less than 80€ for a family of 4? You might find it slightly inconvenient in terms of the sights of central Paris, but it would be difficult to find a more charming little neighborhood.

Unless you really want to spend $500 a night, I would say to save your money for better activities, even if that just means taking a taxi instead of the metro!

You will find it mentioned at the end of this thread, the Hôtel Rhin-et-Danube, a charming family run establishment:

Normally it would be fairly easy to get what you want, your budget is generous. The issue is requiring a view (I assume you mean from your hotel room, not just the general area around the hotel) and then the number of quads or combined rooms in any hotel is limited. So that may be the issue -- along with June being a popular period and it's already the end of May. Things may already be booked up.

Now a hotel I often stay at has what you want (a 2-BR apt for 260 euro in Montparnasse) but that apt. will not have a view, I know because it's on the ground floor and I've toured it. It's still a nice place and the neighborhood is convenient and has tons of cafes and restaurants.

You can try the Hotel du Pantheon for view rooms, it's a nice location. It's just pretty late to book such a special room, that's the main issue as I see it.
