Love everyone's lists.
As to "Love Actually", I have no idea why its a favorite of mine but it is. So? I watched it alot and now change the language to "French" so that I can try to learn a bit of French...

Anything with Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly.
Chicken Run -- Poultry in motion!!
Moonstruck
Notting Hill
Galdiator
When Harry Met Sally
While You Were Sleeping
The Quiet Man
The Phildelphia Story (Original)
The Shawshank Redemption
I'm sure there are many more, but this is a good start.

I would like to add to "Two for the Road" another VERY different, but also travelling film: "The Man Who Would Be King" and, for a sea voyage ('cause there are multi-episodes) "The Flame Trees of Thika". Then, of course, we shouldn't leave out "Around the World in Eighty Days".

Fun thread...
If I had to view only ONE movie it would be a tie between LOTR: The Two Towers and A&Es 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice.
Depending on where I'm going, I'd enjoy viewing any of the following:
LOTR Trilogy
Pride & Prejudice - both versions, I'm starting to appreciate the newer one as much as A&Es version. Wow!
Inn of the 6th Happiness - loved this one since I was a little girl
Sabrina - both versions
To Catch a Thief - Cary and Grace - oh!
for LOL - 4 Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill & Bridget Jones Diary
Witness
Thomas Crown Affair - Steamy!
7 Years in Tibet
Apollo 13
Braveheart
Chocolat
Awakenings
Memoirs of a Geisha - surprisingly loved this one
Okay, too many movies, not enough time...

Quite right, I'm thinking of A&E, not BBC, for Pride and Prejudice - it's the one with Colin Firth.
Our favorite line to repeat around the house: "You are quite dull this evening, Miss Elizabeth Bennett."

For some reason this question makes me think of watching a "Thin Man" marathon. However, "The Third Man" also sounds perfect ... wish the airline was showing that on a November flight to Vienna that I once took. Anything but a "Anchorman"/"Bewitched" double feature, which is what I got on the way to Rome in October.
