Fastest train from Munich to Naples take about 13 hours, including a direct overnight train. Add another hour to get to Sorrento on the Circumvesuviana or to Salerno on the mainline.

Lufthansa has 4 non-stop flights a day MUC-NAP on their regional partners Air Dolomiti or Lufthansa Cityline. Takes about 1:50.

No. Fastest train from Paris to Naples takes 14 hours.

You can check train schedule at www.bahn.de.

You also need to take a look at the map.

Milan (which is still in Italy) to Naples alone takes 6:12 on the highspeed train.

Munich to Naples is 520 miles as the crow flies (over part of the Adriatic Sea too). Paris to Naples is 800 miles as the crow flies.

Flying to Paris and take a train to Amalfi Coast is like flying to Memphis and going to Miami.

Why not fly into Naples?

Agree with Ira - fly into Naples - otherwise you're wasting an entire day just sitting on a train - unless those are places you want to spend some days t anyway. Then - you should look at low-cost airlines.
