Munich lodging

$150 to $175 per night for 3 nights in September, 2009. Any suggestions?

What part of September? Hopefully not during Octoberfest.

I would suggest that you check out Hotel Uhland or Hotel Jedermann.

Sorry - forgot to say the name! Hotel Meier, Schutzenstrasse.
It's in a pedestrain Mall along with other hotels. We paid 120euro for a double including breakfast. Spotless Hotel.

i stay at the Hotellissimo Haberstock. It is just across the street from the train station. Quiet rooms, very clean, and a delicious breakfast. The bad news is, in September there are trade fairs along with Oktoberfest which sometimes doubles the price. I am paying 169€ during a trade fair and 149€ during Oktoberfest. The usual price is 104€ per night for a double.

If Hotel Uhland has a room, it is a wonderful B&B.

Thank you for your advice re. Munich. We have booked an apartment and are thankful for your input. We will happily share our experience with you upon our return home. Thank you very, very much.
