Looking for hotel in London's Bloomsbury area
Planning a trip to London in late February and need accommodations for a single woman, a couple, and 3 families of four. Does anyone recommend a hotel in the Bloomsbury area that can accommodate a family of four in one room? Also, preferable if hotel has certain amenities to entertain children (swimming pool, etc.) Looking for price range for double room of $150 - $200. Appreciate any help at all.

Try Scala House. They rent flats that have 3 BR and a kitchen and living room with 1 1/2 baths. We stayed there a year ago. It was 120 pounds per night as we stayed for 10 days. I think if you stay less than a week it's more, but the price pp would still be cheaper than a hotel. The website states they're luxury apartments, but I found them to be standard apartments.

They're very close to Tottingham Court Road, and a 10 minute walk to the British Museum.

http://www.scala-house.co.uk/brochure.html

Arran House Hotel on Gower St would do nicely - they have both quad & 'quint' rooms, both with & without ensuites. There is no pool but htey are child friendly as you can see from tehir web site. Their breakfasts were divine!http://www.london-hotel.co.uk/english.html
you are looking for a hotel for a party of 17, with a pool, no less, that runs under $200 (£130) per night double. I think you will need to give up the pool idea.

Your best bet would be to rent a couple of 3 bedroom apartments - unfortunately Scala House mentioned above only has 2-bedroom flats. They rent from £110 to £130 in Low season (depending on the number of nights). So you could rent three of them and still be much cheaper than any hotel.

But no pool . . . .
