Tulips - circus comes from the Latin word for circle and is a round open space at a street junction- acc to Oxford dictionary

Northie: Not speaking for Tulips -- but I'm pretty sure she meant she doesn't now why that HI is called "Oxford Circus" because it is nowhere near Oxford Circus . . . Not that she doesn't know why Oxford Circus is called "oxford Circus'.

HI Marylebone would sound much smarter too, than HI Oxford Circus, and Welbeck Street is a better location.

We ended up staying at the Ham Yard Hotel, Firmdale's newest London hotel.
We liked the hotel - room was great, services were great, terrific fitness center, nice breakfast - but did not like the location: too close to Piccadilly and the area is mobbed in the evenings.
