Many of the past posts about the Millesime have said that there is nothing special about the hotel except its location. Le Regent has just as good a location in my opinion, and the superior rooms are very nice. I've only stayed at Le Regent, not the Millesime, but from what I'd gather, Le Regent is much nicer. Just make sure you book a superior or deluxe room.

I've stayed at the MIllesime 6 times...but never at Le Regent. We've always had the superior room...it is quite large, nicely furnished , good bathroom and wonderful staff.
I think you have 6 of 1 and half dozen of the other here! I prefer the Rue jacob location to the Le Regent's. Soemm otheres might prefer the opposite.
BTW...the prices have raised comnsiderably at the Millesime...and now we stay elsewhere!

I've stayed in several, and they are extremely similar. To my knowledge all of them are on the front of the building and each has two large double-paned windows. Each has a large bathroom. While the rooms are individually decorated and the color scheme may vary from room to room, they are all colorful and similar. If I were going back, I wouldn't bother to request a particular one, as I really don't think it makes any difference.
