Le-Regent or Millesime
Would appreciate any perspective from anyone who has stayed at these two hotels in Paris 6th as to preferences. Thanks,
From what I've read in posts over the last several weeks, it would be a tie over which of these hotels is better. Check them out in the search function.

Somehow I get the feeling from what I've read that Le Regent comes out more favorable than Millesime.
Many of the past posts about the Millesime have said that there is nothing special about the hotel except its location. Le Regent has just as good a location in my opinion, and the superior rooms are very nice. I've only stayed at Le Regent, not the Millesime, but from what I'd gather, Le Regent is much nicer. Just make sure you book a superior or deluxe room.

I've stayed at the MIllesime 6 times...but never at Le Regent. We've always had the superior room...it is quite large, nicely furnished , good bathroom and wonderful staff.
I think you have 6 of 1 and half dozen of the other here! I prefer the Rue jacob location to the Le Regent's. Soemm otheres might prefer the opposite. BTW...the prices have raised comnsiderably at the Millesime...and now we stay elsewhere! |
I know them both..reviewed them on same trip. I would definitely pick Le Regent. I would take the deluxe room though.
I do know how to spell...it's my typing that raises problems!
Does anyone who has stayed at the Le Regent have a favorite Deluxe Room that I should request? Thanks again to all for the responses.
I've stayed in several, and they are extremely similar. To my knowledge all of them are on the front of the building and each has two large double-paned windows. Each has a large bathroom. While the rooms are individually decorated and the color scheme may vary from room to room, they are all colorful and similar. If I were going back, I wouldn't bother to request a particular one, as I really don't think it makes any difference.
