How do I get from Pisa Airport to Florence

I am travelling to Florence for a wedding. I can get from U,S, to London using frequent flyer miles and cheap flight to Pisa. I don't want a car in Florence but expect wife and I to have lots of baggage. Suggestions please for getting from Pisa Airport to Florence conveniently and cheaply if possible. Thanks

Another vote for the train. There are direct Pisa/airport to Florence connections 8 times a day, takes about an hour, costs about 6 Euros. This is the aiport train so there are always people with luggage on it.

be sure to check the baggage rules for your "cheap" flight from London to Pisa.

your "lots of baggage" may cost you an arm and a leg.

Hi G,

I agree with J62 that your "cheap" flight to Pisa will cost plenty with "lots of luggage".

I vote for the train as well. I love the Italian train system, it's easy to understand and relatively cheap compared to other countries in Europe. However, this is only if you don't use Eurorail which can be a bit more expensive but well worth it if you want to get there quickly.

Another suggestion to check the limits on baggage.
