Hotels in Monterosso

Please can anyone suggest to me affordable hotels by the beach in Monterosso. My boyfriend and I want to stay the weekend of the 19th. We will be already in Bologna, Italy. I have emailed the following already:

Villa Sten
Porta Roca

(both are full)

Albergo Amici
Suisse Bellvue
Villa Accini
Hotel Pasquale
Locanda II Maestrato

Thank you.

Thanks for replying. I called these hotels and most are full. I have Albergo degli Amici, A Ca du Gigante, Locand il Maestrale, and Villa Accini that I need to contact tomorrow because they are closed now.

Monterosso is a bit congested with tourists, well so is most CT I know, but some places better than others. Try Gianni Franzi in Vernazza at www.giannifranzi.it or La Torretta in Manarola at www.torrettas.com
Good luck with it, these are popular too but great places to stay if you can find a room.

Iramos,
You might try La Poesia, a small, pleasant B & B. It's in the old section of town; but, not on the beach.

Thanks for suggesting La Poesia. I already emailed them before viewing your reply, however, since I have your okay, I will follow-up tomorrow morning.

Iramos, you might not hear back immediately from La Poesia. The woman who runs it is working on her English and sometimes waits till her daughter comes home from graduate school on the weekends to respond. The breakfasts were great and they were very helpful with dinner reservations.

Thank you for your advice. The woman form La Poesia got back to me via her daughter. There is a minimum two nights to stay but we want to stay only one night. We booked a room at Albergo Margherita in Monterosso al Mare. Has anyone heard of it? I see a desciption via their lisitng on a Monterosso general info internet.

Let me know. It will be greatly appreciated.
