Help me Pick a Hotel in Istanbul

Which hotel would you prefer to stay in in Istanbul: Ciragan Palace, Ritz Carlton or either one of the Four Seasons?

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who stayed at any of the above.

Thanks

I have dined but not stayed in both the Ciragen Palace and the Four Seasons in the Sultanhamet area. Both are lovely hotels. Of the two I would choose the Four Seasons hands down. It has the advantage of location. You can walk to most tourist sites from there. We stayed at the Suisse Hotel near the Ciragen Palace and found it just too far from the main parts of town to be fun.

I agree with Julie. Stay at the Four Seasons-great location in Sultanahmet. We stayed at both The Empress Zoe and the Ritz Carlton and did not like the location of the Ritz at all.

Last time i went ot the Ritz carlton and the hotel itself is great but I agree the location is not ideal.
It was not my first time to istambul so I sort of know how to move around town, and the Ritz is ok for the Taksim area and going up the bosphorus towards the Black sea. But a bit off the Topkapi and the downtown area.
When going to that part of town we use to walk (10 minutes) to the tram down by the palace and take it to the center, a total of 30 minutes.
In the hotel the views from the high floors rooms are fantastic.
