EnglishOne,
my mom used to call me the Queen of the Cats when I was a teen!!! Once I was at the movie theater with her, and a beautiful Orange cat, he lived there, just jumped on my lap purrring like he was in Heaven!!
Anyway, now I am the proud mother of 7 cats and 2 dogs( a yorkie named Spike and and Tasha a min pin)..They are adorable!!They are my babies, although I have 3 grown kids and 3 grandchildren..

I am leaving in 2 weeks for Europe, but I dont worry about them because my hubby will be home to babysit...

It is amazing but things dont bother me as much when on vacation. I seem to have more patience.
There has been mishaps but everything always works out.

Grumpy? Never as a traveler! Frumpy, maybe (packing too light and too few laundrys). Bumpy, too (mosquitoes) and even lumpy (who doesn't love pasta?). But never grumpy.

My two rescued pups demand most of the attention around here, but my cat, I've had her since I found her starving at 5 days old and bottle fed her. I could fit her in the palm of my hand then. She's 9 yrs old now and still just a kitten at heart really. So hard to leave 'em behind.

Clifton - to continue your theme - In 'unsafe' areas I get Jumpy, come home Dumpy with all the extra food THEN i'm grumpy! But I do try not to be on holiday. I sometimes get irritated by my partner (well, you are together 24/7 - who wouldn't)

I also get Grumpy when I get home and see how Lumpy I have gotten !
As long as you avoid the pink outfit I think Frumpy can be avoided too.
But as the day goes by and you have walked so much, you might look a little Schlumpy. A glass of wine will help with that!
