Berlin hotel help
I like to know if the Courtyard Berlin Koepenick at Gruenauer Strasse 1
Berlin 12557 is a good location? It says it is 9 miles from the city center, but using my points I can get 3 free nights. Will getting around be pretty easy by train?
Thanks

Use the trip planner at
http://www.fahrinfo-berlin.de/ .
It looks like it would take 45-60 minutes to get to Friedrichstrasse, which is more or less at the center of Berlin, and longer if you wanted to go further west.
So I don't think it's a great location, also because I don't think the area around the Courtyard is intrinsically interesting.
Hotels in Berlin are so cheap, relatively speaking, that I would forego points usage here. Or, could you get the Marriott at Potsdammer Platz?

mike,
if this is the alternative to the Comfort Fruehling am Zoo, I suggest you stick with the latter: I gather from your previous posts that you shall be in town for some action. You therefore might want a central location.
While the Courtyard might be the nicer hotel of the two, it is in Koepenick. Koepenick as such is a nice place (and in parts very nice being surrounded by a lot of water), but it is rather self contained and doesn't even feel like you're in Berlin. So if you want a quiet escape, this might be an option. If you prefer to explore the nightlife and the city as such, a more central location would work better IMHO.
Now, there is a brand new Courtyard in Mitte. If you could get that for your points, that would be my pick.
