Bed and breakfast or appartament in Italy

Dear fodories!
I am planing a trip to Italy in September. I want to stay in a small but nice Bed and breakfast or in an appartament. I found a webside Cross-Pollinate that does that kind of renting, but I want to make sure that I am dealing with a credible agency. Anyone heard of them? Has anyone stayed in a Bed and breakfast (Rome, Venice, Floreence, Positano, Milan) and what was your experience?
Thank you

Hi, Matroskin
I am very sure that is the company that I used last March while in Rome. The apartment was great! We had a large living room, two bedrooms and a kitchen and bath. It made us feel as though we were living in Rome.
Send me the website and I will confirm if it is the one I used and the location of our apartment if you like.
The service was excellent and the owners very helpful and unintrusive.

For apartment rentals, you might want to inquire at windowsontuscany.com
I dealt with with them last year and am a very satisfied customer. Also, you should try a search of this forum. There's been a lot of discussion about apartment rentals and B&Bs in Italy. Buona fortuna!

Just recently returned from Florence and booked an apartment with windowsontuscany.com after a lot of research. It was an extended family trip with 5 or 6 people at all times. The apartment was on the Oltrano side and we had a great time.....a small logia , 3 bedrooms and lots of room plus original terracotta ceilings, hardwood floors .....and at a much more reasonable price than several hotel rooms. Have done it in London and Spain....and really prefer it.
good luck

Hi Matroskin. Two years ago, we found a B&B through the Bed & Breakfast Association of Rome and were very pleased with our experience.

Hello, Matroskin
I responded to your email and gave you the name of the apartment I had when in Rome.
I give the owners of the company a real thumbs up. As I said earlier, they were helpful and very unintrusive.
I do see that the prices are considerably less than when I had booked. The apartment I used would be a real bargain for you.
Good luck, let us know what you choose and how you like it.
Enjoy!
Gigi

Go to this website: www.rentvillas.com - they have never let us down. Always clean, great places. LOVED our apartment in Sevilla especially, and plan to find a place to rent in Italy this September through them.

I'm using both sleepinflorence.com and venicerentals.com for apartments on an upcoming trip. Thus far, I've been very happy with both services.

zar1000 - Did you know that you cannot promote your business on this forum?

I notice all your posts are basically the same - a link to your B&B.

I'm considering staying with www.Holiday-rentals in Venice & italianvacationhome.com in Florence. Does anyone have experience with either of these rental groups? Thank you!
