Accommodations in Paris this November

Have a 3 day layover in Paris the beginning of November - looking for inexpensive accommodations in Paris, maybe the Latin Quarters.... Basically wanted a place close to the sites and the metro system and of course safe. I am open to other areas as well, any suggestions? Thanks!!!

There have been a couple threads on here recently talking about this same thing, more or less. A lot of people like the College du France in the Latin Qtr, it is very cheap.

I stayed once in Timhotel Jardin des Plantes, it was near Saint Michel area and not very expensive. It is one of my favorite place in Paris. There was a metro station very close to the hotel, so it was easy to access the famous attractions.

Depending on your dates,www.rentparis.com may be able to provide you with an inexpensive sollution. They have a few aprtments on the left bak and several in teh Marais that are very reasonable. if your looking to save money, having the option to make a meal or two on your own is one way to go.

I wouldn't recommend the Demeure, it's in a pretty inconvenient location for most tourists and calling it the Latin Qtr is really a stretch. It's on the border of the 5th and 13th arrondisements. It isn't what most people would call central at all. It is safe and close to a metro, though.

I search for an apartment for my next trip to Paris on www.beau-paris.com .
I found the site reliable and they offer relatively affordable apartments in good locations in Paris.
