What's your all-time favorite cruise?

Destination, ship, etc. Whichever you want to say.

Mine would have to be the Baltic/northern European countries, with Alaska one step behind.

I have yet to do an Hawaii cruise, I think that's next on my agenda.

What about all of you?

I have to say the Rhapsody of the Seas for EVERYTHING about it. So much goes into a great cruise. The food was excellent (much better than the Grandeur a few months later), the crew - especially our cabin steward and the dining room duo - were the best of any cruise, the couple who shared our table were great company at meal time, the entertainment was as good as we've seen, and on and on.

I'll list the cruises I've been on and rate them starting with the best

After the Rhapsody of the Seas....
NORWEGIAN SKY(our first and only balcony, the Alaskan scenery and free-style dining) And the entertainment which included Jane L Powell!
SENSATION (our first cruise which was a weekent to nowhere but since it got us hooked forever on cruising, it must have been good!)

The Celebration and Norwegian Sea are tied. I had a good time but wouldn't go on either again..I don't think. What do they say?, never say never?

And last..the Grandeur of the Seas. The food was just okay, the crew was not very friendly or helpful, and the ship was not very clean. Finding a clean table in the solarium or deck area was not easy task! I'm glad that was not our first cruise experience!

Our next cruise is the Galaxy in November out of Galveston. We're anxious to try another cruise line.

Cruiser, we really think Celebrity does a great job. This year we are booked on the Infinity going from Ft Lauderdale to Valpariso. Last year we were on the Zenith, and could not have had a nicer trip.

We are going to get off in Chile and spend a few days, fly to Quito, and take the Celebrity Xpedition to the Galapagos 10 day package.

We had booked an 18 day Crystal cruise from Valpariso to BA, and decided that 14,000 for 18 days was just not the worth it.

However, Celebrity is getting full on all of the SA cruises. If you are interested, I would pick a date, and get my quote from cruisequick.com

We got great rates for both of our trips from them.

Our best ever was four years ago on the Crystal Harmony from Beunos Aires to Manaus up the Amazon. We overnighted in Rio during Carnival and had ground box seats for the parade at the Sambadome - greatest spectacle I have ever seen - bar none - from 9 at night to 6:00 a.m.

Then we went up the Amazon and had some excurions - just incredible.

Thanks, manycruiser!
I was on the Zenith for 14 last year also. I agree with you that she is great! I may sail again this Nov. on her. Can't beat that price!

I'll look into the Infinity. Thanks for the info!
