Fantasy Category 12 (more info please)

What is the overall concensus of booking a Category 12 on the Fantasy? Is it worth it? As for the balconies, do they SLAMM SHUT? Can you have a nice romantic breakfast/dinner on your private verandah where no one can see you. Are their walls up covering the balconies? Please someone give me as much details as you can about the Category 12 on the Fantasy and the Category 11 before I pay all this money. Thank you.

dwoods - you could go to a travel agent and they might be able to help you or you could simply go to this link and see for yourself: http://www.mytravelco.com/cruises/cr...=&SN=817&SC=FA
The Cat. 11 and 12 cabins are pretty good size. Yes the door to the balcony does slam shut due to the heavy spring. This is to prevent toddlers from opening them. You can prevent the slamming by holding the door.

The balconies have side partitions. Also no one can see you from above. One can lean over the rail and look around the side partition if they wish to do so.

Bring a candle for those romantic dinners. Well, room service on Carnival is not really dinner.

Have a great cruise.

Paul

Candles are considered a fire hazzard in cabins - please do not bring them.

Cruiselines advise against them.
We were discussing balconies. I would never advise burning candles in a stateroom.

Paul

P.S. As I rethink candles you may be right Sara, careless passengers may tip over the candle and there are no sprinklers on the balconies.
