Do Cruises have stocked refrigerators in rooms?

I read somewhere that the Carnival Legend has a locked stocked refrig. in each cabin. You have the steward unlock it when you arrive and pay for things accordingly. Is this right?

Cathie: Just like in the hotel, these mini-bars are very expensive. Convenience comes with a price.
Maybe someone out there can fill you in on the suites and the fridge items.
I personally have the steward unlock the mini bar, empty it out, then put my own sodas, water, etc. inside. Not a big deal to them. They seem happy to do it.

Hi,

Do all Carnival ships have a mini bar in the cabins or is that only on the Legend?

Thanks Cruiser. I figured that they would be pretty pricey if they really did have them in the cabins.
But wondered if my information was correct about them being there.
Not sure about your question ktyson.
I only read up on the Legend since that is the one we will be going on.
