Villas in Virgin Gorda

Hello,

We are having our wedding at Little Dix and we are trying to find a villa for my future in-laws and family to rent. Does anyone have any suggestions? The villas at Mango Bay resort are already booked during the dates we are getting married - Nov 8-12th 2007.

Ideally, we would like it to be on the beach and in close proximity to the Little Dix Bay resort.

Thanks so much for your suggestions!

Try www.guavaberryspringbay.com

they have their own cottages as well as private villa for rent. Send them your dates and hopefully they have something. Its close to LDB. Just a short drive or taxi ride.

Depending on how "upscale" and expensive you want to go-- Mahoe Bay villas. Expensive, but terrific. Many to choose from, and it won't be high season. Heads and shoulders over Guavaberry (imo), but Guavaberry also very nice.
Congrats to you!

I second Guavaberry. Spring Bay has a nicer ambience than Mahoe Bay. I think it's also an easier drive at night. Spring Bay is a amazing jewel of a beach! You can travel down toward the Yacht Harbor along the beach by climbing over the rock formations that separate the bays. You can also snorkel around the other way to the Baths and Devil's Bay. The villas on the "beach" side of the road are at most 3 mins. walk from the water. We just stayed at a nice one last summer, Casa Rocalta. They could probably squeeze 9 in there b/t all the bungalows. It was terrific.

Good luck!

I agree with poss's suggestion. The villas at Mahoe are terrific and upscale. The views are awesome and some are right on the beach and several others are a minute or two walk to the beach. The location is close to center of town and Little Dix. Mahoe bay beach is really nice but Spring bay is gorgeous also where guavaberry villas are located. The villas are generally nicer on Mahoe (and more expensive). I would choose based on budget. I think both are good choices.
