Sandals Antigua, Sandals Barbados or Punta Cana??

Looks like well be doing a Craribean Vacay me and the wife (mid 30's) from west coast be 7-8 days. we just wanna chill enjoy the beach and All Inclusive. We been to T&C and looooved it but wanna try differenty island. We want obviously a NICE clear beautiful chill beach where can relax, snorkel if wed like. Any suggestions on my choices? We have enjoyed sandals in past so that's not a problem but definitely not limited to them. I'm leaning towards DR but not sure, heard the Barbados resort is new and working out kinks. Don't know much about the beach n Antigua Thanks

Dickenson Bay, Beach on Antigua is awesome. Soft sand, lapping waves.... It's awesome. I've been to Sandals Grande Antigua twice and love this resort......I also stayed at the Majestic Elegance on Punta Cana... I really liked the resort. The beach is like flour & goes on for miles.... The waves are big as you are on the Atlantic side.....

I've recently read in the New York Times that seaweed is wreaking havoc across the Caribbean. Anyone know how to find the beaches that aren't affected?

Wow that is too bad. As for me I love Dickenson Bay it is an awesome beach. I thought the color and clarity were some of the finest I have ever seen. Located in Antigua. I did not stay at Sandals but I have friends who did and they gave it a good report. I am not a fan of the DR. I liked Barbados the people are lovely, lush, and more of an authentic Caribbean island. Driving is on the opposite of US. Keep that in mind if you are planning on renting a car. They have nice tours of the island.
