If you tap in the names of places on Cat, they most likely have websites and e-mail addresses. I'd try the Bridge Inn, The Bight, Little Bay Inn, Hallover's Inn, Little Bay Inn, Pigeon Cay Beach Club, Orange Creek Inn, the Sea Spray Hotel, Fernandez Bay Village, Greenwood Beach Resort or Hawk's Nest Resort on the southern end with great mangrove marshes and snorkeling right offshore. You should be able to get e-mail addresses from these places. Hope this helps, Robert

There is no one email address for Cat Island, per se. All the accommodations have separate email addresses. If you are talking about a website with information about Cat Island, simply do an internet search. There is quite a bit of information about Cat Island. I hadn't heard much about it before we went on vacation there, but I remember finding more information than I thought I would once I started my search. Also, there are some very good Bahamas guidebooks that you can purchase or perhaps get from your local library.

Thanks! I did an internet search yesterday, and found alot on Cat Island. I thought they might have a website, but, I think they are not developed enough for it! Sounds like a great island to visit in the near future.....peaceful, and great beaches.

You can also try www.bahamas.com for information done by the Bahamas Tourist Board. They are located in NYC and will send you info if requested.
Cat Island is pretty small, and though beautiful not a well known destination, that's what makes the out islands like Cat heavenly.
Have a great trip.

Yes! Now, can you name it and what it is name of the very unique Bahamian type of music played in her "inn," i.e., bar, pub, nightclub combo. Yes, Sidney Poitier was born and raised on Cat Island, and he contributes much of his success and strong Afro American courage during the early film days, by bringing with him the strong moral guidance from Cat. The bands are called "Rake N' Scrape" where the Cat locals make musical instruments out of scrap materials. I can't remember the name of Poitier's pub, though. Anyone out there know the name of it? Robert
