We just got back from our fourth trip to Coco last weekend. It's hard to beat Coco for the price and location on the best part of the beach. The rooms are very nice, esp. the upper floor jr. suites and the beachfront suites which spill out onto the sand. Add to that the really wonderful staff, and you can see why I keep going back time after time.

If it helps...
Coco has a better location for restaurants, bars and just walking. It also has a pool, if you care, and AC and I suspect TVs as well.
CC is a more rustic, but authentic and funky-charming cottage setup, no AC or TVs and further up the beach, where the beach is not as wide. It is next door or close to next door to Margaritaville, which can be loud. CC just reopened after being closed for awhile, tht may be why you haven't seen many reviews.

wtggirl, I'm not sure. I remembered not when we saw them, then I just did a search and found one site that says they do and another that doesn't say.
I believe the cottages have been redone while they were closed so that may have been added? I'd email and check if it's important.
CC is very pretty...the cottages are charming and the property is lush with lots of trees and flowers, at least before the hurricane.
I don't like the beach there that much because it's so far up from places to eat and drink and see shows and also it's very eroded, though I last saw it 4 months ago so that may have changed, sand moves

I suggest going to www.negril.com & asking on their message board. There are many local Negril posters as well as frequent visitors. I'm sure you'll get the answers you need from them.

I agree with Liza. The old Coco Inn and the block of rooms that are in the part of the hotel that used to be SILVER SANDS (just behind the gift and art gallery store at the front entrance) are mostly substandard and few if any come with views. Also there's considerable street noise.
The best rooms at COCO are the upper floor jr. suites, and the ones most removed from the bar area, which can be noisy at night. We had #516 and #526, which were both lovely rooms.
Good luck!
