Has anyone been to this hotel? What are your thoughts/feelings on it?
Thanks!

Were recently in Barbados and met a couple who stayed there. They loved it. We walked thru the property one morning - gorgous lobby area and grounds. They use flowering bushes to make garden rooms with chairs and lounges in them. Absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Good beach area. They are also very eco-friendly.

I stayed at Casuarina in 1998 and really enjoyed it. I'm planning a trip back there this November. The rooms all had kitchenettes, large patios and were clean and comfortable. The property is at the end of a good beach, so it's a little quieter than the hotels to the west. It's an easy walk to St. Lawrence Gap, where there are shops and restaurants. Also a 10 minute walk to the main road where you can catch a local bus to Bridgetown and the northwest side of Barbados.
