The Toronto GTG is on August 9.
Wow, that would be amazing if you could make it.
You'd bump ToedToes out of her title of Fodorite who travelled the furthest! sorry Toed!
If you can't make it, do let us know when you will be here. We can, and do have mini GTG's when out-of-towners are here.

Thanks irecommend.
I have cancelled my reservation at the Sheraton and moved over to the Hilton. I just saved enough to cover the fuel costs to Toronto. Can you see the smile on my face?
By the way, the Hilton rate is $109 per night on weekends.

Now wait a gosh darned moment here! TwighlightZone - don't you be going to Toronto and usurping my title! Hmmmphhhh!!!!
Well, I guess it's OK as I was also knighted as the person who traveled the furthest to attend the Peterborough Folk Festival and I was the one who "traveled all this f***ing way just to go to this ****amned festival" for the Ottawa Folk Festival, and I was one of the furthest travelers to visit the Bonnechere Cave and the Bergeron's Wild Animal Sanctuary, and am well known as Toedtoes from California who is constantly buying Canadian music, and the baglady at the Ottawa Airport....
Hmmmm, perhaps I have enough titles.

Bonnechere Caves? No way! That's remarkable.
Our summer/ weekend cottage is about 5 miles from the Bonnechere Caves -- we're south of Eganville and travel past the Caves every time we go to Eganville for groceries.
In over 31 years of going to Lake Constan, I have NEVER visited the Caves -- though we've said often enough "We shd try that".
Congratulations on outdoing a local!
