WE are going to have a vote for a date in August.
So if you are interested in the GTg at all, please email moolyn.
She will be sending out an email for the vote.
Hopefully doing it this early , we can come up with a date that is good for everyone.

August 9 sounds like a wonderful date to meet.
I have just returned from our 16 day trip to France and Spain with 36 high school students. When we were in Valencia I met up with Lincasanova who had offered wonderful suggestions for our time there. She graciously drove me and two students around Valencia to see some of the more outstanding Fallas. We had a nice cup of tea/coffee in a little cafe. She came back to our hotel to meet all the students before leaving to return to her regular routine.

Teacher, how wonderful!!
Funny, I know a young lady who just returned from France and Spain on a high school trip. But I think her's was a 10 day trip.
Let's hope this weather keeps getting better. I refuse to wear my parka anymore.

I just participated in a GTG in Paris -- 8 Fodorites/ companions met up for dinner at the Bistrot du Peintre, near Bastille, on Easter Monday.
It was great.I am not boisterous in restaurants and hate those who are, esp tourist. But we were so animated -- in an already animated bistro setting -- that someone (I was facing away and didn't see who) apparently asked our table to pipe down a bit!
Everyone that evg had had such different lives and some of the participants had quite exotic tales to tell.
So I am looking fwd to the August GTG in Toronto.
