As many of you know, our 2nd annual Toronto GTG will take place on Sat, August 9.

We will stay at the Hilton -- that $109 rate is very favourable.

Nfldbeothuk - that is an excellent rate at the Delta Chelsea. Good work! I think we are just seeing the start of the impact of fuel surcharges.

Is the GTG for lunch or dinner?

SallyCanuck, I was planning to be on a plane to Toronto around lunch time, so I sure hope it is dinner!

kodi or moolyn, I think there were a couple of posts about the exact starting time, but did we ever settle on when we're all meeting?

Dinner is fine - naturally, in my busy social life (NOT!) there is something else going on that night. But the GTG comes first.

Uh oh. It has to be dinner for me. I'm going to see either Jersey Boys or Avenue Q that afternoon (can't remember which one -- both are in August).

The evening of Saturday, August 9th is correct. I sent out an email last week to people on our list who haven't confirmed yet as I plan to make a tentative booking at the Hot House Cafe this week. It will likely be 6:00 or 6:30, the same as last time. I'll notify the group when arrangements are finalized.
