Hokuriku Shinkansen Timetable in English

Does anyone know where I can locate a Hokuriku Shinkansen timetable in English for the portion of the route from Nagano to Kanazawa that is beginning service on March 14, 2015? Also, is there any indication if Hyperdia.com will load the schedule before service begins? Thanks for your help!

The online search at JR West can do it (through April).

Looks like the Hokuriku Shinkansen timetable has been loaded into Hyperdia.com. 68 minutes from Kanazawa to Nagano. Wow!

russ, how can you tell which is the Hokuriku? Looking at Hyperdia in April, I see Kagayaki and Hakutaka listed as the 2 direct lines from Tokyo to Kanazawa.

Hi filmwill,

Those are both trains on the new Hokuriku line. Here is a link to a great explanation of the new service on Japan-Guide.com:

This came just in time for my trip in two weeks!

>>russ, how can you tell which is the Hokuriku?

russ answered this but I will give an answer just so that I can procrastinate a while longer.

You can tell because there is no change of trains and the Kagayaki and Hakutaka are identified as shinkansen. There was no direct train service between Tokyo and Kanazawa before this.

Kagayaki and Hakutaka are train names on the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line (of track). Like Nozomi, Hikari, and Kodama on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line.
