maybe try emailing flyhigh travel service in Bangkok.. these guys always have ads on the bangkok post. and tend too offer some good deals.
just checking a week old copy of the post. it shows bkk hanooi bkk for 7800baht $190 (not including tax and other fees.
obviiously the price also depends on what date your flying.

Air France promoting B 7,000 for Ho Chi Minh City and B 8,000 for Hanoi, that is about USD 160 for HCMC and USD 200 for Hanoi
www.airfrance.co.th
The airlines you have are Thai and Vietnam Airlines plus Air France, also for HCMC/Saigon Lufthansa ( I think ) for winter season
Seatours have done all my international tickets for years, great service and cheap/reliable.

Through Mol at VSP Travel in Bangkok, I've pre-booked Vietnam Air flights for a total of 16,700 baht or about $417.50 I think. (This was before the increase of fuel surcharge). After she obtains the flight date, time and place and provides the cost, I fax them my authorization and credit card number on their form. There was a fee of 3% or 4% to pay by credit card.
This was for the following Vietnam Air flights:
BKK to Hanoi
Hanoi to Hue
Danang to Nha Trang
Dalat to Ho Chi Minh
Ho Chi Minh to Bangkok
VSP Travel is located at the Ambassador Hotel in Bangkok.
This is the e-mail address:

If you do a search on the Board, there are other recommended travel agencies in Bangkok.
