Go to wikipedia and type in LAX. There will be a listing of destinations. As always, it may not be 100% accurate, but it will be darn close.

That's a great source of information on LAX airport with all destinations.

Stephanie333
It might be that some of those destinations are with direct flights from LAX but not non-stop flights and this is hard to find out. If you are interested in a specific destination from LAX then go also on www.amadeus.net and you will see whether or not it is a non-stop flight......

Can the Americans help here?

In Europe - and in my experience, everywhere serious in Asia - the simple answer to this question is "go to the airport website (almost always the first reference if you type the airport into google), then to the 'destinations' page and it's there in front of you." You don't seriously need to need worry about where it stops, because a flight to, say, Sydney via Bangkok will say just that.

Is that not the case with US airports? And does that explain why there are so many people on this site struggling to find out who flies from, say, Rome to Athens?

In the US, few people ask this question. People usually want to go from one place to a specific another, and they find the best way to get there. They don't usually think, oh, where can I fly non-stop from here.

And aside from JFK, LAX and ORD, most airports in the US don't get that many international flights except it's a hub airport of a major airline. And at the non hub airports, usually the flights you get are to the hub airports of the major airlines. Plus whatever non-hub flights Southwest fly.

It is true that this question sounds a bit unusual. It would be nice to know the reason why Stephanie333 posted this question. It looks to me as a kind of quick research probably needed for some kids at school or maybe a game among friends to answer this question. It is specifically referred to the non-stop flights, not only to the destinations and airlines.... !!

Fabio brings up a good point about direct flights vs non-stop. I am often surprised at how many people think it's the same thing.

Actually, the easiest way to get this answer is at OAG - http://www.oag.com/travel-guides/air.../from-airport/

It varies by day because not all destinations are served daily, and OAG doesn't discriminate between nonstop and direct, but for today (Jan 12) the answer is 150 discreet destinations served from LAX. You need to go through the list to determine which ones are international.

I just read Fabio's second reply! As for the reason for my question.... my husband and I will be traveling during one specific week in April. He's a teacher...so we travel during his spring break.

I will be in my second trimester of pregnancy by then.... still safe to fly. The reason we wanted to know the non-stop flights from LAX to Europe is because that would narrow down our destination choices. Being pregnant, I wanted non-stop.

Anyways...we decided on Paris. There are non-stops on Air France and Air Tahiti. Thank you for your reply and inquiry!!

All the best for the event (!!!) and thanks for sharing your reply.

Now I understand why our friends told us we were crazy !! When my wife was in the 4th month of her first pregnancy we flew:

FLR-FRA-BKK-SYD-CHC with no stopover (!!)
On the way back we stopped 3 days in BKK

On her second pregnancy, in the first month, we flew:

FLR-FRA-GIG-SSA no stopover !

She just realized to be pregnant the evening before our departure so we flew anyway..

More? That's already a whole bunch, especially to Asia.
