Help! Sis needs to lay down from jax to lax

Hi All!!

As my name suggests, I usually go on cruise message boards for questions about vacations but I feel that this board would have better knowledge regarding this question...

Does anyone know of an airline that has the "Bed-chairs" that you find in business class on Virgin or Lufthansa, between JAX, MCO, or ATL and LAX?

My Sis is a Quadreplegic and needs to lay down for most of the flight. We are trying to get there for a 2 week cruise to Hawaii.

Of course, if anyone knows of a pilot with a private jet, oh...like maybe....John Travolta, let me know that too. :-0

She is a teacher(for the last 25 years of EH and SLD kids), so she only has off 3 days before the cruise and 1 day after, so driving or train is not doable.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Take care,

=D=

Only domestic flat beds are on United's "ps" flights between JFK and SFO/LAX.

UA flights 947/946 between Washington Dulles and LAX have the United First Suite when they are using 777s:

The IAD-LAX segments use the international configuration because they are part of a LAX-AMS flight. The 777s are not always used in both directions.

You did not say when your sister needs to fly, but AA is bring back a non-stop MIA-LAX flight on a 777. First class is a fully flat/horizontal bed. The 777 non-stops will start in September.

Thank you all for the info! We will (hopefully) need the flight on Dec 17th, so maybe the MIA to LAX will work.

Thanks again and take care!
