Transfer LAX to SNA
We are coming from Chicago in Jan. and will connect at LAX then on to Australia. We want to leave extra time, just in case of bad weather, but the flights going out the earliest either make a stop on the way or go into SNA. How much of a hassle would it be to go from SNA to LAX? How much $? Can you help? Thanks.

Suzy, I've done a short search, and found this shuttle from LAX to SNA
http://primetimeshuttle.hudsonltd.net/res
estimated time from LAX to SNA 1 hr 40 min, price $35 one person one-way, shared van, $45 for 2 people.
I Googled "lax to sna" so there are more options, this was the first one on the list.

Yes, it can be done. What time does the flight arrive in SNA? Are you taking Qantas (late evening flight)? If you decide to arrive in SNA bear in mind that traffic during certain times can be horrible. Personally, I think it is too much of a hassle. But, I am the nervous type.

even if you do have to stop enroute - that would be a LOT better than having to schlepp from SNA to LAX. Especially since you are probably talking about a morning arrival at SNA.
Don't do it . . . . .
