will be on the carnival cruise line on the nile river part of tour. Anyone taken carnival on the nile?

Sounds strange. If a traditional Carnival ship with deep hull, even if a small ship (not the one Carnival uses on open seas/ocean)... know that the Nile isn't very deep, nor wide. Let alone having to be narrow enough to make it thru the Esna Locks.

Maybe Carnival has arranged a traditional Nile cruise boat with flat bottom for use of their passengers. I'd have Carnival clarify.

Unless someone knows differently, share please.

You must be on the M/S Nile Carnival, which is not associated with Carnival Cruise Lines.

The M/S Carnival is a regular 5-star Nile cruiser.

NFZ and Grcxx3 - Now, that makes more sense! Couldn't imagine a "ship" on the Nile.

In a nightmare....I was picturing Kathie Lee Gifford in a gallabeya....singing with palm trees and camels in the background!
