Guests here are the hippest you'll find at any Holiday Inn. If that doesn't interest you, stay here for the cheapest rates in SoHo. Like so many formerly budget options in the city, plans are in the works to convert this property into a swank boutique hotel, so get in on the savings while you can. Historical features that remain in this former bank building include oversize arched windows, high ceilings, and a classic exterior. Rooms are standard-issue, but clean and well maintained, with touches like in-room coffeemakers and CD players. Bustling Canal Street is on the corner for bargain shopping. Pros: cheap SoHo solution; well-trained staff. Cons: hotel won't be around much longer; nothing stylish; standard-issue rooms.
