Fodor's Review

Tucked away on more than two waterfront acres, this peaceful lodge boasts an island environment that feels untouched by time and the cares of the outside world. This is a place where you can reconnect with simple joys—walk beneath a canopy of oaks and swaying palms, snorkel the crystal waters of Florida Bay, lazily lounge on white-sand shores and bask in dazzling sunsets. The signature guest bungalows—updated in 2013—and casual laidback approach to service, create

a retreat that is ideal for immersing yourself in the true nature of the Florida Keys.

Tranquil Paradise

Fantastic place to stay. you drive in to a tunnel of trees and peace descends. Watch out for falling coconuts though! You are left your own devises and can come and go as you please. Rooms are rustic but comfortable and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A great value with tons of atmosphere

This place is so cute. I felt like I stepped back in time. The room wasn't so much a hotel room as it was a quaint 50's style cabin. It had a screened in porch, living room, separate bedroom, full kitchen with plates, utensils, cookware etc. all for under $100 a night. It would be a perfect place for a family or group of friends to spend a week. The grounds are beautiful with lots of little squirrels and birds, it was like being in the jungle!

I would recommend to anyone.
