Fodor's Review

One of the Keys' most elegant restaurants, Pierre's marries colonial style with modern food trends. Full of interesting architectural artifacts, the place oozes style, especially the wicker-chair-strewn veranda overlooking the bay. Save your best "tropical chic" duds for dinner here, so you don't stand out from your surroundings. The food, drawn from French and Floridian influences, is multilayered and beautifully presented. Among the seasonally changing appetizer choices, you might find smoked hogfish chowder and foie gras sliders. A changing list of entrées might include hogfish meunière and seafood curry with Florida spiny lobster and Key West pink shrimp. The downstairs bar is a perfect spot for catching sunsets, sipping martinis, and enjoying light eats.
