Ahmet Piristina City Archive and Museum

Ahmet Piristina City Archive and Museum Review

Just south of the Kültür Parkı (Culture Park), the archive and museum chronicles 7,000 years of the city's history through colorful posters with informative descriptions in English and Turkish. The museum doubles as a library dedicated to Izmir's history, and is located in the city's old fire station, with a special section dedicated to the history of Izmir's multiple fires and its fire brigade.
