Every bite that comes out of the kitchen, housed in an authentic 1974 Airstream van, is absolutely delicious, and seating is at airy picnic tables. The menu changes with the season—but the tacos, vegetarian, fish, Peking duck, or vegetarian, are always a solid choice—and even by the day depending on what ingredients are available. The portions are large and the prices, by Provo standards, are surprisingly low.

4. Great House Restaurant

$$$$ | |Relatively new on the scene, this restaurant is at the Beach House with the pool as its backdrop, simple and uncomplicated. A unique feature is the Veuve Clicquot champagne bar with a caviar menu. The regular menu features a nice tuna tartare, a pumpkin ravioli suitable for the vegetarian, and superb coconut-herb mahimahi, among many other fish dishes. They have a hydroponic garden, and you can pick your own lettuce for your salad. The restaurant is the nicest (and adults-only) of the Turks and Caicos Collection all-inclusive offerings, so if you're not staying at the Beach House, the Alexandra, or Blue Haven, it's best to make a reservation.

9. The Restaurant at Amanyara
$$$$ | |You'll be in awe as you walk through the stunning grand foyer of Amanyara into the open-air dining pavilion; you can sink into a cozy nook or choose from one of many teak tables scattered under the shade of island mahogany trees or overlooking the lovely reflecting pools. But make sure to begin at the bar, with its high wooden ceiling a feat of engineering; all seating has dramatic sea views across the beauty of the lava rock–lined infinity-edge pool. The signature mojito is spectacular with its fresh mint, freshly ground sugarcane, and a shot of champagne. If it’s a glass of wine you’re looking for, they have a wide selection. The food is excellent, with the freshest seafood and choicest cuts of meat available on Provo. The menu changes daily but always includes a good selection so that all members within your dining party are happy. Their team behind the scenes will not disappoint you, but be sure to allow plenty of time for any Amanyara experience, as it is far more than just a meal. If you are not an Amanyara guest, you must make a call for special access privileges. Reservations must be made at least two days in advance for either lunch or dinner.

Don't skip the excellent chocolate fondant for dessert. Be forewarned, if the evening looks like rain, much of the outdoor seating is not under cover, making the indoor dining area a bit more crowded than usual. Children are welcome only during the very early evening hours.

$$$ | |This little gem is quite unusual to be associated with such a large resort. Simple and lovely, set by the pool and within walking distance from the beach, this open-air restaurant has offerings for brunch and dinner. Their Neapolitan pizzas are certainly worth the hype, but if you're looking for a more hearty meal, their Premium Angus Tenderloin has also received rave reviews. It isn't frequented by the local crowd much, but this hidden treasure is worth the visit.

$$$ | |This restaurant is exquisitely set at the Blue Haven Resort & Marina, with Leeward Chanel and red mangroves as its backdrop. Start and end your evening with a drink in one of the waterside hammocks or lovely nooks set along the man-made spit overhanging the channel; the seating is comfortably arranged around a fire table, with glass to block the stronger breezes and cooler winds during the winter months. Dining can be under the stars or open air, under-roof. You will find such entrées as grilled lobster and pork tenderloin and, for vegetarians, mushroom and arugula risotto. When in season, they also offer an amazing Lobster Thermidor. Additionally, they have an extensive breakfast buffet offering a variety of options that are tasty and appeal to every craving.

$$$ | |With picture-postcard views of the intensely blue waters of Chalk Sound, the setting here is deliriously lovely. This is the only restaurant on Provo that offers an excellent authentic paella (if you order this, give it time—the flavors have to simmer). The menu also includes tapas, so you can enjoy a long lunch, indulging while you gaze at the gorgeous water. Dinner takes a little longer, as everything is made to order; you pick out your fish or meat, decide how you want it prepared, and choose a sauce for it. Try any one of their beef entrées, as they are all wonderful. If you want to experience the sound from the water, Las Brisas also has kayaks and paddleboards that you can rent to go around Chalk Sound.
