A Week in Montezuma
Looking for a cool place to hang out for a week in Montezuma in Feb. We are an active retired couple and enjoy the beach, the jungle, the wildlife, swimming, hiking and yoga. We would like to not need a car, and be able to walk or bike ride everywhere if possible. We would like a pool, and we are fine making our own breakfast, but would like access to restaurants. Any suggestions gratefully considered and appreciated.
Thanks

We loved Ylang Ylang beach resort--which ticks off all your boxes--except for the biking, which really isn't a thing in Montezuma--everything is beach and rocks and a few random streets that are faster walked than biked.
The resort is about 1/2 km up the beach from town--their jeep picks you up in town and hauls you and your luggage to the resort. It's like being on your own deserted island.

If you want to eat dinner at different restaurants, stay in town. Ylang Ylang resort would mean walking to/from town in the dark. Most hotels don't have pools, but one that looks good in a great location is El Jardin. I considered staying there, but wanted something cheap for three weeks.
