Travel Europe from 20 August to 30 August 2011

Hi, We are young newly married couple 27 year both of us. We want to travel for 5 to 7 days. We like to see naturally rich & romantic places. We would like to have thrilling experiences as wel. We are living in india as of now. Our bugeted amount is 1000 to 1250 Euro for apartment and Travel. What are the best travel plan we can workout. We dont like much of museum and art galleries etc. We dont know much about it. We are thinking to go Copenhagen & Paris / Switzerland. Please suggest.

In that short time, pick one location and enjoy. In August, I would pick the Alps---Rome and Paris will be hot.

Also you might want to look at your budget. You've tagged this for Norway, Sweden and Switzerland - three of the most expensive countries in Europe. For a reasonable standard of comfort you'd probably have to double that.

If you want natural and romantic, then Switzerland and northern Italy offer very beautiful natural mountains and lakes. You can ride boats on the lakes, cable cars and trains up the mountains. For thrilling outdoor experience you can also go canyoning, paragliding, etc. (I have not done these, but other people on this board have posted).

Your post says 10 days - for 1250 euros - that is only 125 euros per day - very low for lodging - never mind food, travel and sights. I think you will have to stick with one of hte cheaper areas (not Switzerland) and search very carefully - finding lodging now - to stay anywhere near your budget.

Other natural beauty areas - southern Germany, western Austria, northern Italy. May help with seeing/experiencing the Alps with a smaller budget rather than Switzerland. Small guesthouses will cost less than hotels. Shared bath will be much lower cost. How much luxury do you want?

For example, a 2* hotel with shared bath in Interlaken 90Euros. A 2* in Innsbruck with shared bath is 60Euros.
