no atlas tours to lake plitvice in may- help

we were planning to take an atlas tour to lake plitvice next week, but atlas croatia tours just notified us they don't go in may. Are there any other tour companies that do? alternatives? any other tour companies that leave from ljubljana or pula, porec that go there? or from somewhere near these locations?
thanks

May is low season. I don't think that there will be enough people for such a trip.
But there are public buses from Pula to Zagreb and from Zagreb to Plitvice all the year round.

You don't need a car to explore inside the park. There are boats taking you across a couple of the lakes and trams of some sort that can take you between a few spots, but the rest of it is just walking. I knew all of this from my Rick Steves Croatia/Slovenia Guidebook ahead of time. Perhaps you should pick one up?

Without a car, I'd probably stay at one of the park hotels (I had a car and I stayed at one). You can walk easily to the park entrance from any of the main park hotels. They are overpriced but convenient.

Here's our day at Plitvice. Might give you some pointers on the walk.
