Lake Como Ferries - All Day Trip
My wife and I will be staying in Como for two days in late May. We would like to take an all- day trip on Lake Como on Sunday, May 27, leaving Como around 9:00 to 10:00 and stopping (getting off) at Bellagio and/or Varenna and returning to Como.
I’m a bit confused by the www.navigazione.it site and would like to know if ferries run frequently enough to do a hop-off and hop back on that allows a leisurely lunch and walk about in those towns before returning to Como. Are there all-day fares?

You can hop on and off ferries all day in the center lake area (Bellagio, Mennagio, Varenna and other towns). Buy a daily pass and then get on and off the ferries as you feel like it. They run frequently.
The TI is at the Bellagio ferry dock (small building between the water and the street). You can get a schedule and passes. They are very helpful.

Yes. You will pay a fare that is good for all day. We stayed in Bellagio last Sept and found it a terrific way to get around. You could plan a trip to hit Bellagio, then Verenna and Menaggio and then head back to Como.
