How far is Avignon to St. Remy by car

I booked the TGV tickets but I booked at the central station vs the TGV station. I need to return the rental car at the TGV station. How far are the two stations apart. Or should I return the car the night before? How far is ST. Remy from Avignon and is taxi service avaiable between the two cities? I booked the car with autoeurope. I think they have a dropoff at the central station (Blvd St. Roch) but it is closed at dropoff time eventhou they do have a drop box available. Any suggestions welcom. Thanks.

St Remy is just 12 miles south of Avignon and they are directly linked by the D571.
Journey time of less than half an hour.

There are plenty of taxi firms available who will be delighted to take you and the fare will be about 25 euro.

..THE 2 STATIONS IN AVIGNON ARE CLOSE. there is a shuttle that runs every 15 or 20 min and it is very reasonable..a taxi is a quick alternative esp with suit cases..i dont think the stations are more than 3 miles appart.

When we made train reservations I didn't realize that I had book the return from the other station. We called autoeurope and they had no problem with us returning the car to the other station. If you need to you can change where you return the car.

Autoeurope isn't really a rental car company, just a broker, so it depends who your rental is with and whether they have an office at the TGV station. Most of them do, so I would just try to change it, also.
