Hello, can anyone give me some feedback on the Hotel Fenice Palace in Florence?<BR>Was the room clean (especially the bathroom)? Was the staff helpful? What about the room size?<BR>Thanks.

Last year I stayed at the Palazzo Castiglioni in Florence. It was wonderful, a great value, wonderful location, a real find.

Hi, I stayed there last year (Fenice Palace) and it was very nice. The rooms were large and clean with two large windows that opened to a view of rooftops and a school across the street where we watched the kids smoking in the windows. The bathroom was clean, just sometimes the water pressure was not very strong, but that is the only &quot;fault&quot; I could find with the hotel.<BR>The staff helped us with directions and recs of restaurants, very courteous. I think the location can't be beat, I would stay there again. The breakfast is a nice little buffet too, we ordered hard boiled eggs and they were accommodating.

I stayed there eight years ago, so all I'll comment on is the location, since I doubt that's changed <BR><BR>Just a stone's throw from the Duomo, and a block away from the outdoor market. Great location!<BR><BR>

We stayed there in 1999 and location was terrific . Hotel is a hodgepodge of connected buildings but was quite adequate . only real issue was that shower did not have an adequate shower curtain ???
