Does anyone recommend "DOMUS JULIA" B&B hotel in Rome?

Hey John,
I just got back Monday night from a 12 day stay in Rome. We spent the first 7 nights at the Domus Julia (suite, third floor, room #30) and the last five at the Nationale.
The room was good but I think I'd stay either in the Hotel Julia next door or a smaller room next time.
The good: VERY clean. very large room with a large bath, though small shower. good location, easy walking distance to Metro, Trevi, etc. The staff is VERY helpful and concerned.
The bad: had trouble with the hot water on the last two days, they tried to fix it but it didn't really work. We are both light sleepers and had to close the windows at night, the room got a bit warm because the a/c didn't work very well (the outside temp was in the low 60's- upper 50"s).
Overall we were happy with our stay.

You probably don't have to worry. I posted the outside temps because i thought that's why the a/c didn't work that well. It will be hotter when you visit and probably work fine. My wife and I are just light sleepers and needed to close the windows at night. We live in the country and are not used to "city" noise. We brought along a small fan for "white noise" but it wasn't enough. At home we have two heavy duty air filter/fans in our bedroom. They are very loud and drown out all outside noise. It's a nice place.

Just got back from our trip. We loved the Domus Julia. The room was perfect for my husband, myself, and two year old son. We did have a problem with the hot water in the shower on the first day ( they clearly haven't completely fixed the problem), but it was "fixed" the same day. The next morning we had no problems. I really liked the location, the bath and overall decoration of the room was great. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
