Convertible in Tuscany in late October?
We will be in Tuscany in late October. Would it be worth the extra bucks to rent a convertible for day tripping in Tuscany? Or are the roads too dusty? October too wet?
Thanks!

Looks to me like a little bitty convertible will be double the price of a high end sedan or coupe.
weather could be great or maybe not ... Don't worry about dusty roads unless you plan to use side roads.
I love top down driving, but on the small mountain/hill roads, I might feel better in a closed car.

"I love top down driving..."
Then you should love the below snippet from a news website (I believe in Indiana):

"I was driving with my two grandchildren on a sunny afternoon when a woman in a convertible ahead of us stood up and waved. She was stark naked! As I was reeling from the shock, I heard my oldest grandson shout from the back seat. 'Nana, that lady isn't wearing a seat belt!'"
